Located in New Braunfels, Texas, Canyon High School provides various learning opportunities to the students throughout the region, and is governed by Canyon Independent School District. The school offers classes from kindergarten grades nine through 12 and enrolls more than 500 students. Its curriculum includes a wide range of subjects, such as English, math, science, history, social science, visual and performing arts, vocational education, consumer science, physical education and elective options. The school has a parent-teacher association that organizes and supports various school events and programs. Canyon High School operates various departments, such as career center coordinator, careers and technology, counseling, fine arts, food services, foreign language, health, instructional technology, librarian, music, special education, and technology applications. It also provides a variety of athletic programs, including football, tennis, volleyball, golf, basketball, soccer and softball. The school has a fully equipped library, a media center, a cafeteria, and a computer lab.
