The Auditor s Office is administered by the government of Tarrant County in Texas. It functions as the chief financial office of the county government. The Auditor s Office develops and implements cash management programs and invests idle funds of the county government. It also provides general audit oversight of the books and records. In addition, the Auditor s Office is responsible for processing vendor payments and payroll. It provides financial advice to the commissioner s court when required.
