Navasota LP Gas is a three-generation business, begun as Navasota Butane Gas Co. by the late Norman Bounds and his partner, William Clepper, after World War II. Bounds' grandson, Chad, is the company's current owner. The company remained as Navasota Butane Gas Co. until 1973, when the firm was incorporated as Navasota LP Gas Co.
