Through our own pregnancy experiences, came the inspiration to establish our first Stork Vision Ultrasound Center. We understand the emotions and excitement when a mother see's her baby for the first time. While we originally looked at purchasing a start-up business from other existing Imaging Companies, we quickly realized they did not have the same standards of safety, quality, or values that we believed in. We saw an opportunity to create a branded company within the Prenatal Ultrasound Imaging Industry. Prior to opening, we approached local Obstetricians and Gynecologists and embraced their input on our procedures, staffing, and protocols. We determined ARDMS registered or registry eligible sonographers would perform all scans while utilizing a board certified Medical Director licensed in state to review all performed ultrasound scans. Medical Directors would also provide routine guidance, facility oversight, and quality assurance. In addition, we developed a strict operating and equipment protocol that has been part of our standard operating procedures since our first day. We opened the first Stork Vision Prenatal Ultrasound Imaging Center in 2004 in North Richland Hills, Texas. Since then, Stork Vision has grown from a single location to a multi-store franchise with locations currently in Arizona, California, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin.
