Mr. Freeze Reverse Blast, located in Arlington, Texas, is an exhilarating roller coaster that has been operating since 1998. With a steel sit-down design, it offers extreme sliding and shuttle experiences, featuring a LIM launch from 0 to 70 mph in just 3.8 seconds, a top hat element, and a thrilling vertical rollback. Riders are seated in two rows of two, with a total of 20 riders per train, and enjoy the ride with individual ratcheting lap bar restraints. Originally known as Mr. Freeze Reverse Blast, the ride underwent changes over the years, including a reversal of seating and a name change to Mr. Freeze, offering both forward and backward experiences depending on the side chosen.
Designed by Ing.-B ro Stengel GmbH and manufactured by Premier Rides, Mr. Freeze Reverse Blast is a mirror image of the Mr. Freeze coaster located at Six Flags St. Louis. Despite its delayed opening due to troubles with the LIM launch system, this thrilling attraction has become a popular choice for adrenaline-seeking visitors. With its impressive track length of 1,300 feet, towering height of 218 feet, and maximum speed of 70 mph, Mr. Freeze Reverse Blast offers an unforgettable roller coaster experience that leaves riders breathless.
