About Tyler Wooten, MD Dr. Tyler A. Wooten is a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist who is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has been a practicing psychiatrist and psychotherapist for over 20 years. He entered medical school in 1995 with the sole intention of becoming a pediatric psychiatrist. Dr. Wooten began college at Southern Methodist University on a fine arts scholarship in the Meadows School.
