Morgan Rogers Law
History
Morgan grew up in a small town in West Virginia where she saw many of her friends fall victim to the criminal justice system. After high school, Morgan attended West Virginia University where she obtained a B.A. in Psychology while raising a newborn on her own. Shortly after graduation, in search of a stable future for her and young son, Morgan moved to Houston, Texas to attend law school at South Texas College of Law. After law school, Morgan worked as a Senior Compliance Attorney for Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP, formerly Fulbright & Jaworski, where she assisted the global firm with ethical and business decisions. Although she was offered the opportunity to grow further in her role at Fulbright, Morgan turned down that opportunity and chose instead to fight for those same people she spent her time in West Virginia supporting - individuals caught in the criminal justice system.
