Established in 1949, Mo-Ranch Conference Center is a camp and conference center affiliated with the Synod of the Sun of the Presbyterian Church. Its development department provides scholarships for qualifying youths and adults, maintains facilities for guests, and preserves and protects the natural environment. The center hosts church groups, family reunions, and corporate and school groups. It also provides various recreational activities for these groups that include horseback riding and swimming. It also operates a bookstore and gift shop that carries souvenirs, picture frames, religious books and tapes, stationery, children s books, and merchandise, including shirts, skirts, vests and caps. Located in Hunt, Texas, Mo-Ranch Conference Center is spread over an area of more than 500 acres.
