History

My name is Gabriella Acuna. I live in Spring, TX. I graduated magna cum laude in 2012 with a degree in English Literature from Texas A&M International University. I relocated to Houston shortly afterwards and began work as a test writer in the oil and gas pipeline industry. I began tutoring part time and quickly came to realize my passion; I decided to pursue tutoring full time and run my own business. I uncovered the need for students needing help raising their grades. I saw college students struggling with essays. I knew I could offer help in my areas of expertise so I founded Miss Gabby's Private Tutoring in November 2013.

Specialties

I help students of all ages, PreK-12 and undergraduate, build their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. Essay construction and reading comprehension abilities are crucial elements to a successful academic career. I offer SAT/ACT prep, standard homework help, and much more. I've selected the best tutors to assist me with math and the sciences. We also offer foreign language tutoring and ESL help.
