Minute Made Park, formerly known as Enron Field and Astros Field, is a professional sports stadium that serves as the home of the Houston Astros of Major League Baseball. Construction on Minute Made Park began in 1997 and was completed in 2000. The park has a retractable roof and has a capacity of more than 40,000 fans/spectators. The stadium is owned by Harris County-Houston Sports Authority and was built at a cost of more than $250 million. Minute Maid Park is located on the east side of downtown Houston at the corner of Crawford and Texas Streets, adjacent to Union Station and near the George R. Brown Convention Center. In 2002, Minute Maid Company, a locally based subsidiary of the Coca-Cola Company since 1960, paid an estimated $170 million for a 28-year naming rights deal.
