She started out doing editorial makeup for a Method Seven Magazine, a fashion editorial magazine that is based in Denton, TX. mint + blush artistry (formerly known as Makeup By Shawnee) officially become a sole proprietor in November 2013 and is continuing to expand her business in her hometown Dallas.
