Founded in 1948, Mid-West Electric is a family owned and operated independent electrical contracting company. The company has a complete in-house design-build department offering a wide range of services, including electrical layout designs, lighting layout plans, AutoCad designs and drawings, electrical permit application services and all associated design-build disciplines. In addition, Midwest has a fully equipped radio- dispatched service fleet available 24 hours a day to respond to emergency situations. Mid-West Electric has been involved with a variety of building projects, including the Koch and Sonat buildings, the Texas Instruments corporate development project, the Dr Pepper facility, the Nabisco project, the Coca-Cola facility and the Duke Energy building. In addition, the company has handled extensive assignments for the Houston Medical Center, as well as electrical contracting projects throughout the greenway plaza, downtown and uptown areas in Houston. Mid-West Electric has its operations in Houston.
