Main Street Square Station is a surface level station as are all of the other light rail stations in Houston. It has ticket vending kiosks at both ends of the platform. The platform has a little...

. Don't try to get here without buying a ticket. Tickets checker/ metro police stands on the platform to check. If found without, they will write you up. It's similar to traffic ticket.
