History

Established in 1991, Metro Anesthesia has grown from six founding members, determined to create a practice built on trust and excellence in care, to include more than 85 physicians practicing throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Over the years, Metro Anesthesia has become known for its comprehensive care, superior service to its affiliated hospitals and surgery centers, and its dedicated and talented physicians. Metro Anesthesia's physicians are recruited from all over the country and we seek those at the top of their class. Many are also leaders in their field and hold positions with the Texas Society of Anesthesiologists, as well as other associations. Metro Anesthesia's physicians continue to improve upon their extensive track record in patient safety, while remaining committed to take on professional challenges and offer a better, more reliable service to the broadening medical community.

Metro Anesthesia prides itself on providing state of the art techniques in anesthesia combined with compassionate patient care. We hire the most trained and compassionate Anesthesiologists that are Board Certified or in the examination process with the American Board of Anesthesiology.
