Metroplex Academy of Dance

History

The name represents everyone involved at the studio. It is easy to name a dance studio after yourself....but I did not want to take all the credit. A great deal of recognition belongs to my dancers, their parents and my staff. We realize you have a choice between several different dance schools and not all studios are the same. We encourage you to make sure you agree with their mission, vision and dance curriculum. We will always strive to make dance fun and build self esteem. Your child might not have the desire to perform on broad-way or become a professional dancer, but dance discipline has been proven to increase coordination, strength, correct body posture and self-discipline that will be used throughout their entire life. We offer our staff ongoing training, clinics and conventions to always provide our students and parents the most superior dance experience.

Metroplex Academy Of Dance is dedicated to share our passion for dance by teaching all forms of dance to EVERYONE! No one is discriminated against because of gender, age, race or handicap. We offer a positive environment to learn various styles of dance. We strongly believe that dancing helps build character, attitude and self esteem. We not only teach dance technique, we teach our students skills that they implement in their daily lives such as presentation, posture, poise, structure and improvisation.
