History
Metcalf Barbecue is a new name, but I'm sure y'all know us. We've been Stubbs, and Do-Rite, but both names we had to surrender to large corporations. We needed a name that was all ours . Lynn Metcalf began at Stubbs downtown in 2006, and has been working on this project, along with veteran pit boss Marciano Ortiz, since its founding in 2015, bringing a combined 40 years experience. Our name may have changed but our commitment to being part of a team we love, doing good work and putting out delicious Texas barbecue hasn't wavered. Good vibes, great barbecue.
Specialties
Park like family/dog friendly venue with classic TX BBQ and a full bar. Featuring rotating local draft beers, 20 years of experience, and 2 acres of shade.

We love coming here and letting the kids play outside ! The bbq is always dependable. I know it's going to be great. It is expensive, but we always want to come back again and again.

I really enjoyed this place. The food was good, the staff was friendly and the outdoor area was really nice. Areas for kids to play and plenty of seating. I'd definitely go back!

Good brisket, good nachos, unique spinach and cheese side, and good vibe. A little hot eating on the patio in summer, but it is covered and has fans, so it's not too bad.
