Prior to joining UT Physicians Neurosciences, he was responsible for direct patient care in hospitals affiliated with Baylor College of Medicine, including St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital, Ben Taub General Hospital and Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center; Texas Children’s Hospital; and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Sadeghi has served as principal investigator or co-investigator of numerous clinical trials. He has given national academic presentations and led teaching sessions on endovascular treatment of intracranial aneurysms, subarachnoid aneurysms, ischemic stroke, anticoagulant therapy and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. His research and academic interests are in epilepsy, epidemiology, medical statistics and systemic reviews. He is a co-author of research published in Drugs and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, among other journals. Dr. Sadeghi is a member of the American Epilepsy Society, American Academy of Neurology, American College of Physicians, Medical Council of Canada and the Texas Medical Board.
