The Helms Community Learning Center, formerly known as Helms Elementary School, is a bilingual magnet school that offers education to students in prekindergarten through grade five. It is recognized by the Education Agency and provides instruction in several subjects, such as art, music, math, social studies, science and physical education. Its dual-language program provides content area instruction for students to become bilingual and bi-literate. The school offers a variety of after-school programs and enrichment classes, including arts and crafts, clay pottery, theater, karate, mad science and soccer teams.
