McKinney North High School

Established in 2000, McKinney North High School provides learning opportunities to more than 1,679 students in grades 9 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, fine arts, world languages, career and technology education, journalism and physical education. McKinney North High School provides guidance counseling to students. It has developed a paid tutoring program for secondary-level students, which pays adults who contribute their time and efforts to tutor students. The school s media center has a collection of more than 18,500 books and videos, as well as over 1,700 graphing calculators.
