McCallum High School

McCallum High School is a secondary school offering educational instruction to students from grades nine through 12. It offers advanced placement courses in English, mathematics, social studies, foreign language, art history and music theory. The school has athletic teams for basketball, cheerleading, cross country, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track, volleyball and wrestling. It offers special education programs for students with autism, deafness, serious emotional disturbance, hearing impairments, language and speech impairment, specific learning disabilities, limited intellectual functioning, orthopedic impairments, visual impairments and other health impairments. The school offers clubs and extracurricular activities, including peer assistance leadership, National Honor Society, students against drunk driving, literary magazine, drill team and Texas Alliance of Minority Engineers. It has fine arts programs in orchestra, band, theater and drama, art, chorus and photography. McCallum High School is a part of the Austin Independent School District, and is located in Austin, Texas.
