Nice little park with a few very shady picnic tables and some small windy trails. We saw a woodpecker, Chachalacas, Great Kiskadees, a cardinal, and lots of speedy little Spotted Whiptail lizards...

McAllen Nature Center is a small refuge right off the road that has a good deal of walking trails and picnic areas. I'm glad to see places like this to preserve habit for all the little critters...
