History

I graduated from University of Houston Clear Lake with a Master's in Counseling in 1986. Prior to that I was already doing volunteer counseling in the community. In 1991 I received my Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC. I worked for many agencies in the community helping others at The Women Center, Bay Area Council on Drugs and Alcohol, MHMRA, Tx Rehab Commission, Family Service Center. And many other Health care agencies.

Specialties

I provide counseling services for individuals and couples. I provide a warm and caring atmosphere to explore goal setting for a happier life. This includes exploring childhood trauma, boundary setting, work issues, stress management, reducing anxiety, grief and loss, adjusting to separation and divorce, growing older gracefully, self-care and letting go of codependency with others. I hope for a journey of goal setting by each individual that brings growth and happiness. I wish for each individual self compassion.
