History
Marie Pigg started her career in the Real Estate Industry back in 1936. She worked for one company, Real Estate Exchange, from that time until May, 1969 when she opened 1401 Southeast Pkwy in the name of Marie Pigg Real Estate. Marie not only sold Real Estate but built Custom Homes also. More than 200 homes were constructed by Marie while at the original 1401 location. Marie passed away in her sleep on August 3, 1995 after a long and dedicated career in Real Estate, which spanned 50 years. Billy (Marie's son) and Elise Pigg kept the business going after Marie passed. They soon built the new and current location at 1341 Southeast Pkwy. A larger building with office spaces for rent. The Marie Pigg Building was dedicated on July 19, 2002. Currently Marie Pigg Real Estate is being ran by the 3rd generation.
