History

After being put on furlough from my recent job at Scholastic Book Fairs due to COVID-19, I had a conversation with God. I explained to God that I couldn't just sit around the house wasting away because I know I am meant to be a helping hand to people. God then put me in a position to become a Mary Kay Consultant (empowering women) and to volunteer at Shepherd's Heart food pantry (a place a prayed about 2 yrs. prior to all of this). Then I had another conversation with God about being a light in this dark world and He clearly told me to take a chance on myself! I then went to my husband and explained to him my vision and we moved in the bible scripture Galatians 6:2. There are so many busy parents & students or elders who have lost the ability to do what they use to, so I wanted to be a blessing to those people. Mama Bear Residential Services was born!! I love what I do and I love the fact that I can lighten someone's load and make their life a little bit easier.
