Lowcountry

I was in San Antonio for a conference and stayed at a hotel close to Lowcountry. It was fabulous. This is a dive bar in a 100+ year old house, which gives it a lot of character and a unique feel....

Nice quiet spot right by César Chávez -- kind of hard to see but worth stopping in. I was glad I came and my drink was exactly what I wanted. Delish.

Finally went here since they've been closed the last few times (not open on Mondays). They have a good happy hour and I enjoyed the craft cocktails. Drank my old fashion on their little front...

The bartender at the hotel I was staying at recommended this spot. It essentially felt like I was walking into a frat house, but a lot cleaner and the bar is a pretty nice setup inside a home....

The margarita is hand made not from a machine. Double Entendre is delicious. We are from Kansas City & the main places on yelp have been okay. But this place is a great local place everyone should...
