History
Louis Fish Camp, was an old army Barracks back in the 1940's which turned into a small bar, grill, bait, and tackle joint which later came to be known as Louis' Bait Camp in 1988, same set up just a different name. When hurricane Ike came to visit the Galveston area it cleared out everything but the foundation. That is what brought about Louis' Bait Camp & Restaurant, a nice family fun restaurant during the day and a fun bar at night. A family run restaurant that is just as strong as the family themselves.
