Originally from Lubbock, Texas, Dr. Hansard attended undergraduate college and medical school at Texas A&M University. She completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and her fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. While at Duke, she received the Outstanding Fellow Research Award for her investigation of growth factors and their potential role in embryo implantation. Dr. Hansard is Board Certified in both Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m., and 1:30 p.m.-4 p.m. Credit cards accepted are Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. New patients welcome.

David Prokai, MD

The son of chemistry professors, Dr. David Prokai was born into a laboratory science family. Instead of pursuing a career in research, it was his interest in the way that science interacts with the individual person that led him to pursue a career in medicine. Dr. Prokai received his medical degree from The University of Florida College of Medicine. There he discovered his passion for women’s health which led him to pursue training in obstetrics and gynecology. He received training in obstetrics/gynecology at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center and The University of Washington Medical Center.
