History
Lard Have Mercy originally started off doing Sunday Brunches at various location in downtown Austin. As people tasted the goods and liked it, we were asked to do catering for parties both big and small. we even did some personal chef work for out of town people that were here for SXSW. As the love grew for cooking and seeing smiles on peoples satisfied faces, the Food Trailer was born. Open the windows in the summer of 2012 at South First Food court, then made the move in the fall of 2013 to the UT-Co-op Food Court for about a full school year. We are so excited to be moving to our new location on E 6th to serve the bar crowd which I'm sure will be our best days yet. While the food trailer is open we are still available for catering. Our experience has expanded to weddings for groups of close to 300 people yet am still up for doing small parties of 50 +. Our range of food for these events is pretty wide so checkout our website and Pinterest for details.
