Established in 1955, Lakewood Yacht Club is one of the oldest yacht clubs in Galveston Bay, Texas area. Located in Seabrook, Texas, the club offers a wide range of programs and activities for boaters and their families. The Bermuda-style clubhouse caters more than 500 members with dining facilities. It also has a bar and piano lounge with plasma televisions. The ballroom of Lakewood Yacht Club also provides space and services for social events as well as weddings, birthdays, meetings and the Sunday Brunch. The Game Room of the club provides activities for members' children. Visitors can also engage themselves in yacht races at the Bay Area Houston.
