HistoryFrom its humble beginnings of educating a single class of eight children in donated space, the original East Dallas Community School campus has expanded to serve 100 inner-city children through parent education and daily classroom programs. In 1999, Lumin Education opened a second campus that replicates the programs and success of the original model. In 2009, we opened its third location in the neighborhood north of Bachman Lake. Together the three campuses of Lumin Education serve more than 550 children and their parents.SpecialtiesLumin Education is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization which operates early childhood learning centers with programs to meet the needs of children from birth to age nine. Lumin Education was founded in 1978 for the specific purpose of proving that all children, regardless of race or income, can succeed in school when we start young and involve parents.

The Clariden School, located in Southlake, Texas, is a nonprofit educational institution that serves students in kindergarten through grade 12. The school has a variety of sports programs, such as basketball, cross-country, soccer and softball. The Clariden School is a member of the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools. The school has a parent organization that assists in generating funds, sharing ideas, obtaining material resources, upgrading school facilities and supporting the spiritual base of the school. Its academic program includes math, science, social studies, physical education, business studies and information technology. The Clariden School conducts classes in choir, dramatic presentations, concerts, art classes and music.
