We live in Lake Jackson. There are lots of restaurants, but this one is reasonably priced and has a wide variety of seafood dishes plus hamburgers and steaks. Fried shrimp are popular here and theirs are as good as any in this community. (Shrimp boats ply the Gulf of Mexico out of Freeport, which is 8 miles distant.). Side dishes include dirty rice and fried vegetables - a very satisfactory portion. We get take-out and have patronized them very frequently. Way better than pizza.

I wanted to like this place, I love visiting local hole in the walls. Unfortunately, while the prices were very cheap, the food was some of the worse I've had in awhile. The calamari was not...

Always get the Gumbo/fried fish combo. Can't be beat. Popcorn shrimp and burgers are a good choice as well.

The fried shrimp are good the redfish as well. Gumbo good not great! Fries a little soggy. Overall an acceptable meal.

Prices up quantity down and a good dose of politics even if you don't want them..no veterans discount 8 months enjoyed until price increesed..never eat there again..didn't order politics with my food
