Beautiful park! Clean, well maintained with lots of trails! Friendly staff. Hours are limited so make sure you contact them if you are checking in after hours.

My husband and I travel to state parks quite frequently...we even have an annual Texas State Park Pass ( so worth it!)... and normally it is Seamless! I'll post positive reviews about the others...

Lake Colorado City State Park out in west Texas was nice and peaceful. Road Runner Loop Trail seemed far longer than 1.8 miles. I was ready to get back to my car after carrying a 50 pound sack....
