When I was 8 I invented what I called a "Kornbread Sandwich". Many years later my Mom and I opened up a pie shop and restaurant and we slowly introduced my creation after tweaking the recipe for our cornbread. It's become an addictive addition to our historic small town and we love to see the faces of our guests eating it for the first time. Come on in and try it. It's not your Mama's cornbread!

Place was cute and quite busy. Art all around the shop for sale. Chicken salad wrap was good, had cranberries, chicken, mayo and lettuce, Bag of chips and pickle spear. Wish I had a fork to eat...

Sandwich was great, really held up even though it was cornbread. The soup was hearty and delicious. A welcome respite from greasy food on the road.

We went to this restaurant yesterday since we were visiting from out of town. Would NOT recommend. The waitress/ cashier was unfriendly and rushed. The chicken and dumplings soup tasted awful....

Man oh man... you haven't had a sammich til you've had a Kitt's Kornbread sammich! I recommend the Bigfoot Texan! Double meat, chili and cheese and I go with the jalapeño kornbread.
