From the website:Littered with space travel history, the entry way to Space Center Houston known as Rocket Park is just that mdash a park full of rockets. The sleeping giants of space exploration are on display just south of Space City. Guests have the pleasure of viewing four rockets that were used in NASA missions during the 1960s and 70s. Three of these have been fully restored and are on display just outside of JSC mdash Little Joe II, Mercury-Redstone and the Gemini-Titan. The largest of the rockets, the Saturn V, is located in a warehouse just beside the entrance to JSC. The 30-story tall rocket has been on loan from the Smithsonian rsquo s National Air and Space Museum collection since 1977 and was recently restored in 2007. The Saturn V is perhaps the most accomplished of the four with 9 trips into outer space six of which landed on the Moon carrying 27 Apollo astronauts. Rocket Park is open 9 00 a.m. ndash 6 00 p.m. daily, free of charge.
