Kaylee Franks, PA-C

Alexis Sabu, MPAS, PA-C, earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas, in 2020. She then went to the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, School of Health Professions, to earn her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2024. Alexis joined Kelsey-Seybold as a certified physician assistant in Kelsey-Seybold's Gastroenterology department in April 2025. Alexis provides high-quality, individualized, evidence-based care for a variety of gastrointestinal conditions such as diarrhea, constipation, GERD, dysphagia, elevated liver enzymes, and more. She has a particular interest in preventive care, such as colorectal cancer screenings, to improve long-term health outcomes.

Edward Ji, PA-C, is an Internal Medicine physician assistant at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. In 2015, he earned his Bachelor of Science, with honors, at Texas A&M University. Edward then earned his Master of Science in physician assistant studies at Baylor College of Medicine. Treating both adult and pediatric patients, Edward provides care for a broad range of conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and mental health conditions. He also conducts well checks and provides treatment for acute conditions such as respiratory infections and other illnesses. Edward joined Kelsey-Seybold in November 2023.

Evonne Yang, PA-C, earned her BS in Biology from the University of Texas at Dallas and her Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. Her journey into healthcare was inspired by childhood hands-on activities and a desire to help others, sparked by treating a family chicken's foot infection. Now at Kelsey-Seybold, she specializes in surgical PA work, focusing on restoring bodily functions and performing cosmetic procedures. Evonne joined Kelsey-Seybold in 2024.
