Dr. Thomas Alexander has been practicing in Corpus Christi for over 20 years. During this time he has received multiple best teacher awards at the Corpus Christi Medical Center Residency Program. In addition to serving on multiple committees, including the hospital system for quality improvement, Dr. Alexander is active with the local American Heart Association and numerous other volunteer organizations. He is currently the Program Director for the Cardiology Fellowship Program at Corpus Christi Medical Center. In addition to preventive cardiology, Dr. Alexander also specializes in TAVR, endovascular aortic repair and PAD treatment.

Dr. Christel Cuevas is board certified in Internal Medicine. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in 2011. She recently completed her Cardiology Fellowship from The University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. During her residency, she received Outstanding Clinic Intern in Internal Medicine and received the John ?Jack? Wallace, MD Prize in Cardiology during her medical school training. Dr. Cuevas is a Resident Council Representative for the Department of Cardiology, a member of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association and American Medical Women?s Association. She is fluent in both Spanish and English.
