Kara Carter, MD

After completing her undergraduate studies in Microbiology at the University of Florida, Dr. Jordan earned her medical degree from the University of Miami. She received postgraduate training at Baylor College of Medicine, where she completed her residency in Internal Medicine. Dr. Jordan has served on the Board of Directors for the Texas Chapter of American College of Physicians for the past three years. She is also a member of Houston Medical Forum, Texas Medical Association, and Texas Medical Association's Political Action Committee. When she's not caring for patients, Dr. Jordan enjoys cooking, gardening and exercising. She is an avid Florida Gator fan and college football enthusiast. She is active in her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. both at a local and national level.

Dr. Farjo is board certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. He graduated valedictorian from the University of Baghdad College of Medicine and was a recipient of the University President and Dean Award.

After completing her residency at University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Ohio in June 2012, Dr. Sokunbi began working for IPC Healthcare as an Internal Medicine hospitalist in an acute care hospital. Dr. Sokunbi also worked in Pediatric Medicine for IPC Healthcare. Dr. Sokunbi is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Physicians, the Society of General Internal Medicine, the American Medical Association and the National Medical Association. Dr. Sokunbi, who is married with two children, loves cooking and do-it-yourself projects Dr. Sokunbi likes to relax by watching HGTV. Her role model is her mother. She said the best advice she learned growing up was "Whatever is worth doing at all is worth doing well."
