Justin Joseph, DO

After earning her medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine in 1992, Riva Collins, M.D., completed her internship at Bellevue Hospital Center in Internal Medicine in 1994 and residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine in 1997. Dr. Collins is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Houston Dermatology Associates. When not caring for patients, Dr. Collins is involved in volunteer and community outreach. She also enjoys serving in literacy and education programs in underserved areas.

Dr. Sheena attended medical school at Tulane University's School of Medicine and completed a three-year residency at Baylor College of Medicine in 1994. She began working in pediatrics in 1995 by practice sharing with Kelsey-Seybold Pediatrician Dr. Marilyn Lemos. Dr. Sheena was inspired to pursue pediatrics in elementary school at the age of seven by her pediatrician, Dr. Simpson, who treated her for asthma. She considered him a role model Dr. Sheena is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a member of the Harris County Medical Association. A life member of Girl Scouts and the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Dr. Sheena is an avid volunteer and an active parent. She works with her daughters' Parent Teacher Organization, Houston Youth Lacrosse and has served on the Board of Directors for the Nature Discovery Center in Bellaire. In addition, Dr. Sheena spends her free time with her husband and three daughters who all enjoy travelling, skiing, scuba diving and scrapbooking.

Dr. Nicole Thurmond is a Family Medicine physician who earned her Bachelor of Science in biology from Ohio State University in Columbus in 2011. She earned her Master of Public Health in 2014 and her medical degree in 2017 from St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. She completed her Family Medicine residency at Houston Methodist Hospital in 2021.
