Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas

Established in 1945, Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas is one of the leading nonprofit workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy organizations worldwide. Its programs are taught by classroom volunteers from business industries in the United States and more than 110 countries. Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas involves over 10,000 business professionals, parents, retirees and college students in the teaching of various educational programs. It works for the development of self-confidence and life skills. The organization offers various regular and after-school entrepreneurship, work readiness and financial literacy programs for students in kindergarten through grade 12. Additionally, it provides various federal and private scholarships for eligible students. Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas is located in Houston.
