Dr. Rajan received her medical degree from Bangalore Medical College (India) with top honors and was awarded the Gold Medal in Physiology in her second year of medical school. She completed one year of pediatric internship at District of Columbia General Hospital and a three-year family practice residency at the University of Maryland Hospital. Dr. Rajan is board-certified by the American Board of Family Practice and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Her practice philosophy is to treat the patient as a whole and to include, when advisable, the use of scientific alternative medicine.
