Joyful Melodies offers a unique music theory and piano keyboard course, called KinderBach: Simply Discover Piano, which is specifically designed for children ages 4, 5, and 6. KinderBach is the perfect introduction for young children who show an interest in learning about music and piano, but may not be ready for traditional private piano lessons. Many studios will not allow children under the age of 7 to begin piano lessons. However, because the KinderBach program uses a simple approach that is based on enchanting cartoon characters and a variety of multi-media activities in addition to playing the piano, it's the perfect way for young children to begin to learn important foundational skills while having fun and avoiding the kind of frustration that is often experienced in traditional lessons. KinderBach is taught in small groups of 2-4 students that meet for 30 minutes once a week.
