Jorge Velez, MD

Dr. Elizabeth Maccato, a native Houstonian, attended the University of St. Thomas where she completed her Bachelor of Science in biology in 2015; she graduated summa cum laude and was on the dean's list for eight semesters. She went on to complete her medical degree in 2019 at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She relocated to Las Vegas to complete her Internal Medicine residency in 2022 at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Dr. Maccato treats adult patients, ages 18 and older, for acute and chronic medical conditions and has a keen interest in LGBTQ+ healthcare. She joined Kelsey-Seybold in 2023.

Katherina Tsai, PA completed her Bachelor of Arts in biological sciences and her Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from Sothern Methodist University in 2019. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 2022. As a General Surgery PA, she cares for patients in clinic and assists in the operating room for a variety of patient presentations including hernias, gallbladder diseases, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, abscesses, and more. She joined Kelsey-Seybold in 2023.

Evette Kingcaid, MD, FAAFP, earned her medical degree at the University of Wisconsin in 1998, where she also earned her bachelor's degree in 1993. She continued there to complete her residency in 2001. She worked at Kelsey-Seybold from 2010 to 2021. Dr. Kingcaid returned to Kelsey-Seybold in June 2024. As a Family Medicine physician, she helps patients of all ages with preventive medicine, weight management, women's health, and the management of chronic health conditions such as chronic heart failure, high blood pressure, diabetes, and asthma. She also helps patients with procedures such as IUD placement, joint injections (limited to shoulders and knees), skin tag removal, toenail removal, and minor abscess management.
