About UsEric Koch, DDS, is an experienced general dentist offering state-of-the-art dental care at Advanced Dental Care of East Texas. Dr. Koch has been practicing in Jasper, Texas, for over three decades and has a reputation for his chairside manner and exceptional dental services. He was born in Galveston, Texas, to a family of medical professionals. As a young boy in Beaumont, Texas, Dr. Koch would visit his uncle's dental practice, which got him interested in a career in dentistry.Dr. Koch attended the University of Dallas and Louisiana State University before enrolling at the University of Texas, Houston. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery there in 1987. He worked as an associate with his uncle, Bill Cutbirth, for one year and practiced in Houston before moving to Jasper to open his current practice.While he has extensive expertise in general dentistry, Dr. Koch enjoys keeping up with the latest research and technology. A life-long learner, he has enrolled in a variety of continuing education institutions, including the Misch Implant Institute. (KOIS Center for Advanced Dentistry, Clinical Foundation of Orthopedics and Orthodontics.)Dr. Koch is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Sabine District Dental Society, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the American Society of Osseointegration. He is also a fellow at the Misch Implant Institute and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, where he received a Diplomate of ICOI, the highest honor from this organization.Dr. Koch enjoys spending time with his four children, Mason, Avery, Kinsley, and Madison. Dr. Koch also loves to fly his Beechcraft-Bonanza and volunteers his time with Angel Flight. This organization provides free, private air transportation to people facing medical challenges or having other compelling needs.
