The author of four best-selling medical textbooks with Elsevier/Mosby/Harcourt: Clinical Orthopaedic Rehabilitation, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Editions and Handbook of Clinical Orthopaedic Rehabilitation, Dr. Brotzman is also a former clinical assistant professor at the UT San Antonio Health Science Center. As an instructor in the Department of Orthopaedics, he was responsible for teaching orthopaedic surgery residents in training. After completing medical school, Dr. Brotzman spent five years in an orthopaedic surgery residency at the prestigious Campbell Clinic at the University of Tennessee Orthopaedic Surgery program. Dr. Brotzman and his sports medicine team focus on the individual, tailoring their care to each unique set of circumstances.
