His next step was a residency in family medicine at the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine-Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso, where he became Chief Resident of the Department of Family and Community Medicine. He followed this with a fellowship in sports medicine at the same institution. In practice for 10 years, Dr. Garcia is affiliated with the Hospitals of Providence East Campus.He is a member ofthe American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine, and the American Academy of Family Medicine.A proud Texan, Dr. Garcia loves giving back to his community.
