History

Joan Marron Law represents people arrested for misdemeanor and felony level offenses in Austin, Texas and the surrounding counties. After beginning my legal career in 2010 as a civil litigator, I made the switch to criminal defense in 2014, and as the daughter of a criminal defense attorney, the transition came quite naturally. My passion for criminal defense law is closely connected to the fact that it is a very people oriented field of practice. Criminal defense requires a personal approach that acknowledges that no matter the degree of offense, being faced with criminal charges can be a traumatic experience that has a major impact on the accused's life and future. The criminal justice system can be confusing and intimidating, so it is important to have an attorney by your side who not only knows how to navigate that system, but who also genuinely cares about your case and protecting your record.
