In addition, he received the Albert Schweitzer Osler Society Global Health Scholarship for his commitment to a global health experience, as well as the Jack Smith Scholarship for the best behavioral research proposal of the year. Dr. Harmouche is a member of the University of Houston Chapter of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, an exclusive group for students in the top 7% of their class, and received the Houston-Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation Scholarship for his efforts in improving academic success for minority students through teaching workshops. Dr. Harmouche completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at Ascension St. John Hospital and Medical Center, where he received comprehensive training in women's health care.

Dr. Jamal Mohammed is a passionate and enthusiastic family medicine physician with vast experience caring for geriatrics, pediatrics, women’s health, and adults. He acquired experiences as a medical practitioner in a robust residency training program at Texas Tech University Health Science Center at Permian Basin. He is well known for the hard-working, compassionate, warm-hearted care that he rendered to his community. He is fluent in several languages, which include English, Spanish, Amharic, and Oromo. During Dr. Mohammed’s medical school and residency training, he was involved in community health activities by being part of STD testing, treatment, and prevention initiatives. He is inspired by rendering compassionate care to the underserved with the goal of preventing disease and halting disease complications.
