PetroLogistics provides pipeline, transportation and other logistics services to the petrochemical and LPG (liquid petroleum gas) industries in Louisiana and Texas. It has one of the most extensive ethylene pipeline distribution systems in Louisiana, reaching more consumers of ethylene through direct connections than any other system. The company also provides underground storage for natural gas with connections to multiple natural gas pipelines. It actively pursues opportunities to assist customers through the investment of capital in projects, such as pipelines, terminals, storage facilities and selected processing units, to meet specific logistics or supply chain needs. Lindsay Goldberg, a New York-based private equity investment firm is the majority equity owner of PetroLogistics.
