History

Begun as Efficient Cleaners by Ana and David in 2002, IAN (In a Nutshell) Cleaners, formed in 2010 when Tara and Alex joined the company. At first they added carpet cleaning, in which David had been certified for 5 years. In 2011, the company started adding staff and opened its office doors in Bellaire, TX. After reading various studies on the indoor environment and safe ways to clean, IAN cleaners began its Green-focused cleaning and became certified in summer of 2011. They have joined with other local companies in the quest to educate people and stimulate interest in going green through creating a cost-effective, efficient and simple way to become more environmentally conscious.

Specialties

Green cleaning is our business. We service residential homes and autos, as well as the commercial sector. In each sector we not only offer full service cleaning, we offer auto clean and detail with our commercial-grade equipment. We offer great deals especially for long-term customers who want to improve and maintain their indoor environment . The EPA has studied indoor air and environment quality and determined that it is 5-7 times as harmful as outdoor air, depending on the geographical location. Houston, with its oil refineries, traffic, and fast-build mentality does not have the cleanest outdoor air, which translates into lower base indoor environmental quality.
