ABOUT DR. TOROHugo M Toro, MD, PA, is a highly experienced board-certified internist who has been practicing medicine for over 30 years. He is pleased to welcome new and returning patients to his practice in Katy, Texas, where he provides exceptional primary care and internal medicine services for adolescents and adults. As a native of Colombia, Dr. Toro speaks fluent Spanish, as do all the staff at his practice.Dr. Toro graduated in 1989 from La Universidad Del Quindo in Armenia, Colombia, with his medical degree.He practiced as a General Practitioner in Colombia before coming to the United States.In 1994, he undertook his residency training in internal medicine at St John's Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway, New York. Dr. Toros experience includes involvement in numerous research projects, among them studies into diabetes and cholesterol. He is the medical director at Clinica La Salud and is one of themedical investigators for Juno Research, LLC, both in Houston, Texas. Hes been in private practice since 1997.Dr. Toro is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a fellow of the American College of Physicians.
